My Story
Hello. My name is Tamara Tucker, founder of Story Celebrations LLC. Over 25 years ago, I was inspired with the idea to create living memorials. The idea was for the honoree to be alive and present while family and friends tell them about the impact that they have had on them while simultaneously acknowledging the approaching end of the honoree’s life.  It is in essence a living scrapbook—a vibrant, loving tribute that captures the essence of a life well-lived.  My mission is to encapsulate the uniqueness of each individual, creating an intimate and safe environment that encourages open and honest discussions about life’s final journey.
Dying is not a failure. It is a transition.  With this transition may come tasks to complete, systems to navigate, and conversations to be had.  It is my honor to support you during this time.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with experience in individual, group, and family therapy. I am trained as a Certified Celebrant and death doula. I have been involved in hospice and palliative care for nearly a decade as both a volunteer and social worker. I believe that this work is a calling. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to each precious life I am privileged to encounter for helping me do it.
